First Major REJECTION :( (From Channel 4)

The other day my good friend Charles Lawley hooked me up with an exciting proposition. Working for 'The Box' with Channel 4. The Box works with most UK based music video channels including Kerrang, Q, 4 music and many more. With my background of both TV and Music, I knew I would love to work for these guys. Check the link here...

After a couple of emails it looked like I was going to take the role of Freelance Transmissions Operator, but alas after I told them about going to America for 2 months they swiftly turned me down saying...

'It wouldn't be worth training someone up who will disappear after we finish' they went onto say, 'also it appears on your CV that your not a very technical person'.

With the last comment I found it hard not to get a little annoyed. At the age of 17 I was the first person to independently set up the Yeovil College BND studio by myself! Anyway they employed Charles Lawley, who I've never seen hold a camera!!! (Cos he's such a good scriptwriter, he doesn't need to ;) ) It's sad because I know I'm just like my father and he's pretty technical!!!

This is a well paid job that I could have worked freelance, this was the dream man, the dream!!!!

Thank you Charles for trying to help me. Charles in a stand up comedian/comedy scriptwriter. Check his stuff here...

I apologise for the choice of photo on his website; The I'm trying to get 5000 pounds blog does not encourage this sort of behavior, but Charles is a bit of a loss canon!
